Katie the 6 Year Old!

Katie celebrated turning 6 with events spanning four days. The first celebration was at her school. Mom brought Krispi Kreme donuts to the class and read a book. The second celebration was with cousin Danielle at the T-Rex Restaurant. Afterwards the girls had a camp out in the tent set up in our basement. The third celebration was with the Omers at our house. We had a picnic and played games outside. And the fourth and final celebration occurred on her actual birthday with Mom and Dad. We gave her a Wii so spent the morning playing that. In the afternoon, we went for a paddleboat ride at Shawnee Mission Park (something Katie has been waiting to do all summer).
