Cousin Lexi

We made a quick trip to SD mid-August to attend a 50th wedding anniversary party for Kevin's aunt/uncle Jan & Gene Gullickson. All of Kevin's siblings and Dad were at the party. During the visit, Katie got to spend some time with cousin Lexi. Katie LOVES Lexi and says Lexi is "a special girl". We agree :)

2009 Dylla Camping Trip

It was another fun year at the 2009 Dylla Camping Trip - Lewis & Clark State Park in Yankton. There was a luau, swimming, arts & crafts, scavenger hunt, egg hunt, baseball and of course the talent show. Katie sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame".

Omaha Zoo

We made a trip to the Omaha Zoo in July. Katie liked the aquarium and Skyfari best. Skyfari is a chair lift ride thru the zoo. Katie's favorite animal is the Cheetah. I love this picture of Katie, Kevin and the elephant. It appears this elephant is a pro at having his picture taken--he/she looks straight into the camera.

First Day School

Katie goes to pre-school at Brookridge Day School. It is a school for 3-year-olds up to third grade. Here is a picture of Katie on her first day of school.
