Texas Trip 2009

In mid-January, Katie and Jan visited Grandpa and Grandma Dylla in Texas. We went to Padre Island on the first day. Katie LOVED the beach and wanted to go back the next day. But the next day we went to Brownsville Zoo. Katie liked the Zoo, especially the lion and alligator. After the Zoo, we got Katie to doctor for her reoccuring ear infection. We took it easy and stayed home the last day except for a quick craft show. Katie said the trees are different in Texas.

Christmas 2008

"Dear Santa: Please bring me Batman, SpiderMan, Ninja Turtles and a Scooter. Thank You. Katie". That was Katie's Christmas letter to Santa. Santa got her all of that plus a desk for her to practice her writing, scissors, coloring, etc...

We spent Christmas Eve with Omers then drove to Brandon on Christmas Day. The Zoellners and us stayed with Grandma Carol (aka Grandma Toodledoo). While playing at Grandma Toodledoo's house, Katie dislocated her elbow again. Although Kevin and I were taught how to put it back into place, neither one of us could do it. So thankfully Uncle Mark put it into place and placed a temporary cast on Katie.

Thanksgiving 2008

We had a nice Thanksgiving with cousins Jonah and Mia in town. The highlight was trip to Science City museum.
